Our independent financial advisers help educate on financial planning
Friday 17 June, 2016
Financial advisers have a responsibility to educate. At Lonsdale Services we have introduced a rigorous procedure for providing financial advice that ensures all our clients understand their investment options before they accept our independent financial adviser’s advice.
How Lonsdale Services Independent Financial Advisers work with clients
At Lonsdale Services we offer clients a free consultation meeting before they invest so we can educate them regarding their financial options. We then complete a risk assessment to ensure we recommend the most suitable products based on the level of investment risk which they are comfortable with taking. Where appropriate, we also recommend we complete a Lonsdale Lifetime Financial plan to help clients visualise their future wealth and help them to understand how they can achieve their financial goals. Their plan will be reviewed annually.
The results of Lonsdale Service’s customer satisfaction survey
Results from the customer satisfaction survey (January 2011-April 2016) shows 612 clients answered the question - Does My financial adviser always provides me with sufficient information and /or documentation in order that I can make a fully informed decision. 71% of our clients strongly agreed with this statement and 29% agreed. Less than 1% disagreed.
Neil Homer, independent financial adviser in our Stafford Office said;
‘The results from the customer satisfaction survey show that we are succeeding in helping our clients make informed investment decisions. We’ve found our clients have really benefited from setting up a Lifetime Financial Plan. It helps them model their cashflow and enables them to understand how they achieve their financial goals in retirement.’
