Richard Porter, independent financial adviser, St Albans hosts estate planning seminar at Verulam Golf Club, St Albans
The free Estate Planning seminar held at Verulam Golf Club on 13th October 2013 was well attended by local clients and other guests living locally in St Albans and Harpenden. Richard Porter outlined the new inheritance tax changes and explained how you could use gifts, trusts, business protection relief, charity donations and life assurance in estate planning.

‘We have been really pleased with the number of people that have come along and listened to our ‘Pension Options’ and ‘Estate Planning’ seminars this year. Guests who have attended our seminars have found them useful. This was our first estate planning seminar and we had lots of questions after the presentation. My aim was to give everyone an understanding of the type of arrangements they could put in place if they wanted to undertake inheritance tax planning.
