Ware financial planning team take on work experience student

Our Ware financial planning team have been awarded a certificate of recognition from the youth connexions Hertfordshire Health & Safety as an approved provider of work experience placements, after Josh Fitt completed a one week work experience placement.

Allan Ross Independent Financial Adviser at our Ware office said:

‘Josh is 15 and was interested in a career in the financial services industry.  Josh’s Mum has been a client of mine for the last 5 years and she was looking for a financial institution that would accommodate him during his work experience week.  We’ve given Josh a basic introduction to the role of a financial adviser so he understands cashflow modelling, the importance of asset allocation and the risk and returns involved in investment.  By working in our Ware office he has also seen how important the role of the administrators and paraplanners are in supporting our clients.  Josh also attended a client meeting and spent a day in London where he was fortunate enough to spend time with our Lonsdale Services contact at Vestra.’

Josh Fitt said: ‘I am really grateful to the financial planning team at Ware for giving me such a fantastic work experience opportunity.  I have always been interested in working in the financial services industry.  Going into London and meeting the Vestra team was a great experience.’
